Cheesy meatballs

In our house, there's only room for cheese lovers. Living in the cheese capital of the world, a cheesy meatball was meant to happen.
You need nice, aged Gouda for these meatballs. You're not gonna get away with a young, melty cheese, because it will all leak out of the meatballs.
Ingredients:
• 500 gram ground beef or pork • 100 gram old, aged Gouda • 1 tsp paprika powder • 1 tsp garlic powder • 1 tsp onion powder • 2 tsp Italian herbs • ½ tsp white pepper • ½ tsp salt • 1 tbsp tomato puree • 1 egg • 5 tbsp bread crumbs •
Mix all the ingredients together, but safe 3 tbsp of breadcrumbs to coat the meatballs. Make sure you grate or chop the cheese into small cubes (about 0,5x0,5 cm). I made 12 medium sized meatballs out of this amount of meat.
Roll them through the breadcrumbs and brown them in a pan with butter or oil, until golden.
Put in the oven at 180°C until filly cooked. Mine took about 10 minutes, but you might need to check them if the size of your meatballs is different.
Super easy and super tasty! I feel like this would also do well with some added jalapeño in there.
Enjoy!
