I feel like I've been cooking all weekend. We had Deging Smoor, which has to simmer for hours, I made Chinese pork dumplings for lunch and today I pickled a huge batch of jalapeños. So for dinner I had to keep it simple and quick today. Creamy crawfish pasta!
Ingredients:
• 200 gram pasta • 200 gram crawfish (clean) • 200 ml cream (20% fat) • 3 garlic cloves • cup cherry tomatoes • zest of one lemon • salt and pepper • 150 gram green beans • spring onions • some dill •
1. Cook your pasta as the instructions tell you in some salted water. Add the green beans into the pasta water for the last 5 minutes.
2. Finely chop your garlic and cut your cherry tomatoes into 4 pieces.
3. Heat up some oil and saute the garlic. As soon as the garlic starts to get golden, add the tomatoes and crawfish. Cook for a minute and add the cream, salt, pepper and dill. Let simmer for a few minutes.
4. As soon as the pasta is cooked, the green beans are cooked as well. You can drain them and add them into the sauce.
5. Add the lemon zest and finely chopped spring onion and stir well. Your dish is ready to plate.
Enjoy!
