Indian butter chicken

As promiced, the Indian butter chicken from @ohmydish with a little change here and there! Both me and my bf loved it!
Ingredients marinade:
• 3 portions chicken thighs • 3 garlic cloves • juice of 1/2 lemon • 4 cloves • 1 tbsp chilli flakes • 1 tbsp garam masala (I used my favorite one from pit-pit.nl • 1 tsp nutmeg • salt and pepper • 3 tbsp melted butter • 4 tbsp yoghurt •
Ingredients sauce:
• 75 gram butter • 3 cm freshly grated ginger • 1 tbsp garam masala • 300 ml passata • 150 ml cooking cream • spring onions • optional: extra fresh chilli pepper •
1. Cut up your chicken into large chunks and add the marinade. Set aside for 2 hours or longer.
2. Add the 75 gram of butter and fry your ginger and optional chilli pepper. Add your marinaded chicken.
3. Add the other ingredients except for the spring onions. Add the cream last. If the sauce is a little runny, you could thicken it with some cornstarch or let simmer until it reaches the right consistency.
4. Last but not least, add the spring onions on top! Pair with white rice and vegetables or some (home made) naan bread!
