Did you know kimchi is super healthy? The bacteria that cause the fermentation are really good for you and it tastes great as well.
This quick kimchi chicken with green beans is ready in 15 minutes and you can make it was spicy as you like.
Ingredients (3p):
• 400 gram chicken thighs • 250 gram kimchi (use the liquid as well) • 2 garlic cloves • 400 gram green beans • 2 tbsp light soy sauce • 2 tbsp Korean chilli paste • 2 tbsp sambal (if you want extra spice, or use extra chilli paste) • 1 tbsp sugar • salt and pepper • 1 tbsp cornstarch • 1 small ringsd onion •
1. Put on your rice and pre-cook the green beans until al dente.
2. Chop up your garlic and saute in hot oil. Add the sliced chicken with some salt and pepper.
3. When the chicken is cooked, add the soy sauce, sugar and chilli paste. Stir well and throw in the green beans.
4. Once everything is mixed well, add the sambal and kimchi together with the liquid it's in. Depending on how much liquid is in there, you might need to add some water-cornstarch mixture to thicken the sauce. Let simmer for a few minutes.
5. Serve with the white rice and raw, thinly sliced onion on top.
Enjoy!
