Sometimes you're just hungry for a certain kind of flavour and you just start throwing stuff together that's in your pantry. I don't think I'll be able to re-make this in the same way ever again 😅 I'll give it a try to write down the recipe 😇 Ingredients (1p): • bacon strips • 1/2 tsp garlic powder • 1/2 tsp onion powder • 1/2 tsp dried chilli flakes • 1 tbsp sugar • 1 tbsp oyster sauce • 1 tbsp soy sauce • 400 ml light broth • dried mushrooms • 1 cm thinly sliced ginger • 2 lemon leaves • noodles • 1. Start with frying your bacon in a small saucepan. Add the garlic powder, onion powder and chilli flakes. As soon as the edges start to get golden brown, add the sugar, soy and oystersauce. 2. Add the broth (make sure it's not too salty) and dried mushrooms. Add the super thinly sliced ginger and lemon leaves. Simmer until the mushrooms are nice and soft. You can also use fresh ones, but I just happened to have some dried ones in my pantry. 3. Add the noodles and cook as instructed on the packaging. I added some Sambal Ketjap, fried onions and sesame seeds as a topping. If it turns out a little salty, add some extra water and sugar. If I would've had any, I would have added some vegetables 😅 but I didn't feel like going to the store and the point of this recipe is, that these things are almost always in my house.

Enjoy!
