Shephards pie

Yes! It's autumn and that's asking for a Shepherds pie! With real ground lamb and bold, strong flavours. I used the recipe from @the_wholesome_dish and the only thing I changed was that I left out the corn and added mushrooms and I used fresh carrots. Other than that you can totally use her recipe! It's perfect!

Shepherds herd sheep and so I do think the flavour of the lamb is really important in this one. With cow or pork it would be a Cottage pie. With deer it is called a Hunters pie. Going vegetarian? Call it a Farmers pie. It makes sense I guess.

Whatever you put into it and whatever you call it... It's tasty and hardy and I can totally recommend it!
