When you think about pasta, you think about Italy, but this pasta is mostly with Spanish ingredients. It's really tasty, salty, sweet and you can make it as spicy as you like!
Ingredients (2/3p):
• 100 gram spicy dry chorizo • 100 gram dry fuet • 1 onion • 1 red bell pepper • 2 tomatoes • 300 gram passata • splash of white wine • black pepper • chilli flakes (optional) • 200 gram pasta • 1 tbsp dried Italian herbs •
1. Follow the steps below while boiling your pasta in salted water.
2. Cut up both the sausages in slices. Start with frying your chorizo in a little bit of oil together with the cut onion.
3. When the chorizo starts to brown, add the bell pepper and fuet. Heat up for a few minutes.
4. Add the splash of white wine. As soon as the wine is almost vaporized, add the dried Italian herbs, black pepper and passata. Stir well.
5. When the pasta is cooked, add to the sauce together with the tomatoes. You can now add the chilli flakes to your liking.
6. Add some lemon juice for a fresh kick and the spring onions are optional, but add a nice taste and a touch of colour. If you don't want it spicy at all, go for a mild chorizo and skip the chilli flakes.
Enjoy!
