Spanish pasta

This pasta dish with Spanish flavours is an all time favorite in my family. It's savoury and it coats your mouth with the fat from the sausages. It super easy and a guaranteed success.


Ingredients (4p):

• 250 gram pasta • 250 gram Fuet • 200 gram Chorizo • 1 onion • 2 bell peppers • 3 garlic cloves • 1 chilli pepper (optional) • 1 can skinned tomatoes • 2 tbsp tomato puree • 2 tbsp dried oregano • 3 fresh tomatoes •


1. Boil a big pan of water and start cutting your sausages and vegetables. Don't slice the sausage too thin, they will dry out too much. The chilli and garlic are fine in thin slices.

2. Heat up a large pan and throw in the Chorizo. The fat from the sausages is enough to fry the garlic, chilli and onion, which you have to add in next.

3. When the onion starts to brown, add the Fuet and stir well. After a few minutes you can add the bell peppers.

4. Add the tomato puree and fry this for a minute. Add the canned tomatoes and the fresh tomatoes with the oregano. Stir well and let simmer for 5 minutes.

Stir in the cooked pasta and that's that!

Add a fresh salad or some greens and enjoy!
