For a long time, my local supermarket stopped selling these small chickenwings, which I really love. As soon as I spotted them again, I had to have 'm. They are already marinated in some paprika and salt, but it's not a big flavour, so they're easy to adjust to your own taste. Chinese five-spice for example... Ingredients: • chicken wings • 4 garlic cloves • 1 chilli peppers • black pepper • fresh ginger • 2 tbsp chinese five-spice • hoisin sauce • soy sauce • 2 1 tbsp honey • 1ell pepper • zucchini • 1. Give the chicken wings a good rub with the five-spice and black pepper. Make sure the oil in the pan in nice and hot. Fry them skin side down first and turn them over as soon as they get a nice colour.
2. Add the chilli, garlic and ginger. When everything has a nice golden brown edge, add the bell pepper and zucchini until they are cooked.
3. Add a splash of soy sauce and a tablespoon of honey, together with a good amount of Hoisin sauce. As always you can add some cornstarch if your sauce ends up too runny.
Lovely as a party snack or with a hot bowl of perfume rice ❤
