Yoghurt-basil dressing

It's 1 am and probably the worst moment to make an Instagram post, but I can't sleep and I need something to do.
Tonight i made this super fresh and healthy chicory salad with a yoghurt-basil dressing and my own onion confit. I think I will post the confit in a separate post, but this one is foe the basil dressing. It's almost like a pesto, but instead of olive oil, you use yoghurt and you can also be a bit more adventurous with the cheese. I used a hard sheep cheese with truffle in it. It was super tasty!
Ingredients:
• ½ cup freshly grated pecorino, parmigiano or other hard cheese • handful cashews • big bunch fresh basil • 4-5 tbsp yoghurt (low fat for extra healthy option) • salt and pepper • 2 garlic cloves • 3 tbsp water •
I assume I don't have to tell you how to put everything in a blender and pulse until smooth. Add as much water if needed for the right consistency. Not too runny, but also not too thick. I seriously loved it and I think it also works really well on pasta with some extra chilli flakes or something. Or just eat it with bread or on fresh tomatoes!
So many possibilities.
Oh and the salad only has chicory, shallots, basil, grapes, the dressing and extra truffle cheese in it. Easy! The confit was just extra.
